Jane McClain, of Fitness For Your Lifestyle, is a Personal Trainer and Running Coach. She holds a BA in Adult Training and Development, is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), and Exercise is Medicine Certified (EIM) through the American College of Sports Medicine. She is also a Road Runners Club of America Certified Running Coach, is Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Certified, and is a Certified ChiRunning/ChiWalking Instructor and a Certified Tai Chi Instructor. Jane also works with individuals on their Golf Fitness.
Jane’s passion for health and fitness started while serving in the US Navy where she formed running clubs and assisted Navy personnel who were struggling to meet the Navy’s physical fitness requirements. Jane’s training techniques include using Tai Chi principles to help with walking and running, teaching breathing techniques to strengthen the core, and using mental focus to improve your balance. Jane is inspired by her clients, and her passion is to help them improve their physical health, stamina and longevity.
Jane loves living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and moved with her husband from Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she was a Personal Trainer for 13 years. She enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, and works with them on an individual basis to find where they are on their fitness journey, and what types of fitness modalities would best suit them as an individual.
